2-MER/4-MER

The 2-MER/4-MER system comprises two multivalent modules, respectively a dimer and a tetramer, fused to a specific interaction domain. Combined expression of these arrays drives condensate formation.

By choosing the specific interaction domain pair, and playing with their affinity, one can engineer this system to phase separate at different saturation concentrations.
